Rylie is part of Australia's Parra Rugby Team bound for the Beijing Olympics. Joyer is part of a contingent of local businesses helping support Rylie in his quest for gold at the Olympics.

Karina Nowlan - Tournament Water Skier
Joyer is proud to sponsor tournament water skier, and local girl Karina Nowlan. Karina is the current junior world jump record holder and recently finished third at the 2007 world championships in Linz, Austria in the womens slalom event.

Panthers Ironman Triathlon - Port Macquarie
The Joyer team donned the vibrant orange uniform on Sunday April 1st as we welcomed the Ironman Triathlon 2007 to the region once again. This year saw the team in the registration tent, co-ordinators of the main crossings and throughout the cheering crowd. A big hand to all the other volunteers and huge congratulations to all the amazing athletes who competed.



Port Macquarie Rugby Club
Joyer is proud to be a sponsor of Port Macquarie Rugby Club, the Pirates. As part of sponsorship Joyer redeveloped the club's website www.portrugby.com.au to provide a portal for the committee to communicate with existing and prospective players, as well as sharing game results, photos and news to the community.

Rotary Exchange Program
In February 2007, Joyer was delighted to play host to a Rotary International Exchange Professional passing through on their tour around NSW. Dawn of Minnesota, USA spent the day with the Joyer infrastructure team gaining an insight into the local IT Industry. Apart from the very warm weather, the main difference Dawn noticed in IT was that the USA has tougher legislation when it comes to technology.




Business Networking
Joyer is a Patron Sponsor member of the Hastings Business Enterprise Centre and an active member of other business networks such as the Chamber of Commerce, the BNI and the NSW Business Chamber. The business networks have monthly events and are fundamental in supporting business relationships throughout the region.



Small Business Month 2006
September is Small Business Month in Port Macquarie and consists of many motivating networking events. Joyer helped out as the design and print sponsor, providing graphic design and marketing materials for the events. The Annual Expo hosted over 70 stall holders, including Joyer who put on an electronic golf game and most of those brave enough to have a go walked away with a prize or two.
