The Joyer Site in Review series looks back at the large suite of websites we have completed that are live on the web today and have stood the test of time, both technically and in terms of design.

Retallacks Sewing Centre has had a local and online presence in the Hastings Region for many years.
The existing Retallacks website was created years ago and was being frequently maintained to cater for their market.



However it was time for a fresh new face to give their customers a great online experience, encourage more sales and give Retallacks an edge in their market.
Using texture and depth, a creative concept was born to give the site a tactile, human feel. Colours were inspired from the original logo which has built brand recognition over the years in retail.
The space was fully utilised with promo panels helping customers jump to popular items.



The design was applied to a Content Management System website which would allow Retallacks staff members to update the site themselves at anytime. Search functionality, enewsletter and online forms were also implemented to enhance the experience for each customer.
Like most sites, the Retallacks website will continue to grow and improve with even more useful tools to come.
